This is a one off 0 gauge completed build of the Signal Box a Drayton, situated on the South Coast line between Barnham & Chichester.
It was built in 1876 to a Saxby & Farmer design for the London Brighton & South Coast Railway subsequently passing into BR(S) ownership. The box eventually closed in 1986 having been reduced to the status of level crossing control only.
This is our ex display model. It is of red/brown brick construction. It has been fully decorated in SR cream and Middle Chrome Green. The interior has been lined out in planked plasticard. The roof is removable to enable additional detailing of levers, wheel etcand possible interior lighting.
Construction is from laser cut MDF with etched brickwork
Footprint of the box is 150mm x 85mm inclusive of steps and canopy, apex height is 125mm
